We came with lot of expectations, anxieties and excitements. I would definitely say NALS not only met our expectation but also exceeded our expectations. We expected NALS to convert introvert students into extrovert, they have achieved to an extent and from there SIMS can take over and mould the students. We also expected to train them on self – confidence, team building, leadership, etc, the customized training programme attained some of our objective effectively. Every year we would bring our students for their OBT to NALS.

The management of National Model had taken the right step of sending us all to such a beautiful set up. Once it was announced, a lot of doubts & queries stood in the fore front. But Mr. Mohan our correspondent and Mrs. Uma our Secretary motivated us to join the camp. The moment we stepped inside, we felt ourselves to be different individuals. Being one with nature was an unbelievable experience; it was as if we were in the arms of Mother Nature. Kudos to Colonel and his team of boys who stood with us and guided were fantastic and it was enormous learning.
The importance of a leader, time management, the success of team work, planning strategies and also the self discipline of an individual is well understood. Adaptability to any situation and discomfort was also the most important factor that was learnt.

It was a wonderful and a adventurous trip. We learnt a lot in this camp, from goal setting games to emotional control over fear, anger, lust, etc. Rope Walking and Rappelling were really adventurous, which helped us learn that we all have fear and we must learn to control those fears at right time and right place.

It was a dream come true for us as organizers, in arranging the 3 days training program for the Non-teaching staff of Lakshmi Vidya Sangham.
