For city sloths like us, the escapade with NALS was a completely rejuvenating experience. We went in the peak of winter and are most grateful that they even agreed to organize special tours for just our family of three. We did river crossing, did two mini treks and camped out at Solang Valley. The entire experience with NALS team was totally incredible. Our young camp director – Kishanchand – has the maturity, experience and presence of mind much beyond his age. He is also a wonderful human being and it was a complete pleasure to have spent time with him. The NALS team gave us five star treatment with delicious hot meals and ensuring that we were comfortable at all times – despite the vagaries of the weather. What was impressive was that they had a Plan B and C in place in case the original Plan A did no go as per schedule. Once it started snowing heavily at our camp site – Kishanchand was quick to take action, bundle us into a car and escort us back to our resort in Manali. We appreciate his quick thinking and planning. I would also like to mention that Kishan went out of his way to help us catch our bus back to Delhi – as Manali town came to a standstill after two days to snowfall. Last but not the least – we’ll never forget our little antakshari competition inside the warm kitchen tent while it snowed outside and many thanks to the NALS team for letting our amateur Chennai team win!

I had a wonderful time in Leh. I just cannot describe in words the beauty of Himalayas. People in the valley are very fortunate to live in such a marvelous place on earth.
Dinu was very cool and very accommodating. He did an awesome job in coordinating all the activities. I loved Alchi and Rizong monasteries. Water rafting for 14 km in Zanskar was very exciting. Drive on Khardung-La pass and the road trip to Tsomiriri provided us with great views of mountains, valleys and rivers. They are simply breathtaking. I thoroughly enjoyed my trip to Leh and would love to go back in near future with my daughter. I did give some suggestions to Dinu on what could be done better. Many thanks to Dinu for taking good care of us. He seems to be very responsible and highly professional.
Thanks again for arranging the tour and look forward to working with NALS for another adventure in near future.

Thank you very much for a wonderful experience. Also, thank you very much for acknowledging the achievement of the joint venture between NALS and SEFE. A lot of hard work over a period of 9 – 12 months was put in by both organisations and the participants from the date on enrolling. It gives us great pleasure to again be part of your adventure program this year. Your camp Manager Mr. Dinanath was of full co-operation and support to us from the time we landed at your campsite till we boarded our bus back to Delhi. He is a wonderful human being and expert in man moving us throughout the trek. The supporting team was also very good. The food was superb and refreshing after the tiring walk.

The campsite is beautiful. The food rocks. I had an amazing time and met some amazing people. The trek was great and we were kept busy throughout. It was pretty cool, I mean the whole route. The nights were very cold. Loved the instructors, the kitchen staff, the food, the trek, the campsites, and the weather. Awesome Time.
